Some notes I have written from seminar on important points to consider in finding the partner in life (^_^) here they are:
- Spiritual Unity - believe the same thing, faith - God must be in the center of the two of you. (2 Corinthians 6:14-18)
- Same life purpose - both of you have same goal, one cannot be going to left while the other one will go to the right, both must be on the same directions to be able to function well.
- Both must be Emotionally Healthy,
Emotional Health Factors:
- no uncontrolled anger (Proverbs 22:24)
- no addictions
- no bitterness (Hebrews 12:15)
- not selfish (Proverbs 11:17)
- Don't eat on table with Stingy person
- Tells the truth (Proverbs 20:7)
Love alone is not enough reason to marry.
A bad marriage is a thousand lot worse than staying single.
Marriage doesn't create problems - it reveals them, so make sure you have settled all your problems with your family before you get married.
